My responsibility as Director of Advertising and Sales Promotion with Cummins Engine Company Inc., Columbus, Indiana, were to direct and coordinate all advertising and sales promotion activities worldwide, with responsibility for a $20 million annual budget. I have also brought my marketing and advertising expertise to American Woodmark Corporation, Winchester, Virginia and Ford Motor Company in Michigan during my years of managing marketing and corporate communications. My years spent as a Public Affairs Officer in the military and my education (M.B.A. and B.S. degrees in marketing) also helped prepare me to handle a wide variety of challenging assignments for a large number of clients, ranging from start-up firms to those businesses that have been operating for many years.
